Misty Mountains

After a successful trip to the dentist and a great meal at the French restaurant in the hotel in Tijuana, we made our way back over the border on foot and then on to the airport for the beginning of our trip back. As we made our way over the mountain we had flown over in the dark we said goodbye to Mexico in the mist. Really good flights to Las Cruces in New Mexico and a great dinner at a local winery - the biggest in New Mexico - owned by a family who originated in Germany and via Algeria came to plant grapes her in Las Cruces as the climate was so similar to Algeria. Delicious wine - so we bought a bottle of the Cab to go back with us. Extra of the family - the white haired gentleman on the right is the owner and founder - as an extra plus, they were dining on the table opposite us and his grandson was playing the piano - which he only does on Thursdays!
