Children In Need Day

Eldest granddaughter Jessica was all geared up for, and excited about, a special Children In Need day at school today. She also very excited about getting an award at assembly - Class Achiever Of The Week - for some nice handwriting that she had done. Mum and Dad were both able to attend to see her presentation whilst I stayed to look after baby Emily.

I then drove Dad to work to save home time catching his normal buses.

A more normal day with Emily - although we didn’t get out because of the incessant rain.

The rivers around here are all flooded again and there are big ‘lakes’ where they have overtopped the banks.

Hopefully the drive home tonight will be a bit more pleasant than last night - it was horrible - dark, pouring rain, strong winds, spray.
