Sans Silver Birch

Now that the Silver Birch has gone we can get the benefit of the Beech tree. It is quite a good shape and the leaves are now turning a golden brown.
To the left, and behind, you can see the fir tree. This was about 3 feet tall when I planted it there. It was in a pot at our front door but it suffered during a summer a few years ago so I put it into the ground to see if it would recover. It certainly did, it's about 20 feet tall now. and still going.
To the right the Flowering Cherry tree is also displaying beautifully coloured leaves but they are dropping.
