village life

It's panto time in our village....oh no it isn't, oh yes it it. Ali Baba and the 38 thieves (it's the recession).
It had all the essentials, pantomime dame, dancing, bad jokes, forgotten lines, ad-libbling, crowd hissing, naughty jokes, a panto camel and gorilla, singing, cute children and their sisters and their brothers and their cousins. The cast was 70! This is just a small representation, the rest are sitting on the floor out of shot.
3 hours was quite long.

On stage I spotted the first baby that I helped birth when I first moved to Ireland, she's 5 now and played her princess part to perfection. Awwww.
I like village life.
