We had a trip into the big city today!  We'd decided to go for a stroll along the Embankment to see the wonderful gardens and statues near Scotland Yard and then went to the Cenotaph.  I loved the statue of the Women of World War II.   As it was Prince Charles' birthday there was a salute from the Tower which we saw as we were heading for Borough Market (extra) where we sat and enjoyed a lovely cuppa and snack.  There was so many different types of food on display/for sale it was hard to choose..... we ended up sharing a very meaty sausage sandwich!
