The house

I took a shot of the house to show Alison that it is still standing and that the trees are dropping their leaves etc but I have no idea what has happened to the roof tiles....
The house was built in 1932 and stands as it was then with almost no internal changes.  Central heating was only added 9 years ago and there has never been a television or internet. The first washing machine arrived five years ago but we do not think Alison ever got round to using it as she felt it was too rough on her clothes.  She was quite happy washing by hand!  Sadly, most houses in the street, (a private one) when they come up for sale are demolished and rebuilt, though now there is a sort of standard approved - no ultra modern 'stuff' allowed.  There was a huge outcry after the first modern creation went up so now all plans have to be run by the residents committee!
