Peak Autumn

If it's dry the leaves on the trees are still colourful and vibrant, and many of them are still on the trees... but it hasn't been very dry today, and more and more of them are finding their way to earth.

We spent an interesting morning riding e-bikes around a local company car park, happily empty of cars. An importer and retailer in Nailsworth was promoting them as well as selling off their demo stock.

It was tempting, to be sure, to augment the 1700cc twin with a slightly more environmentally friendly stable-mate. I am afraid though nowadays that large impulse purchases have to be resisted. Well, mostly resisted.
