Lewis at The Hill House

Lewis and I went to Yhe Hill House today, the Charles Rennie Mackintosh house in Helensburgh. Due to construction techniques, age, location and weather it is starting to deteriorate. The NTS have built a roof over it, with mesh chain for ‘walls’ to protect against the worst of the elements. They’re hoping it will allow the house to dry out a bit. It was beautiful inside, the attention to detail was phenomenal.
