Guavas from the garden

We have two kinds of guava in our garden.

This little pink one was planted by R snr when we moved here four years ago. They are not big and are quite tasty, but we don't get to eat much of them. The worms and birds get to them first, and we are not keen on using poison in the garden, we like the birds around and they enjoy the fruit.

The other one is a white guava, but not with the familiar shape, they are round, looks more like green apples, are very big, weighs up to 700gr each and are even more prone to being infested by worms. The skin stays green and the flesh is white, just like the pink ones, they have lots of seeds inside. They are not as tasty as the pink ones, but you can taste it is a guava.
