Tripping

It’s late, like well after 11 pm.....we’re in Nelson staying with our good mates from high school.  What a fun evening we have had, lots of laughing going on.  
I’ve taken the very easy option, transferring the photos with the Sony wifi to my iPad. I only took these three photos as the blip shows the weather was pretty awful on the trip up, but that didn’t matter at all.  Such a beautiful drive....7 hours.  We stopped for lunch where the top two photos were taken  , it was snowing then hail.  The bottom one was one of the hold ups along the way, with slips and improvements.
Once we neared Nelson the sun shone, this city doesn’t have the label “sunny Nelson” for nothing. 

Good to be up here, some biking tomorrow weather permitting.
