grey skies and black cockatoos

Dare I say it but it is very nice, sometimes, to have a grey sky against which noisy birds and fast becoming decimated trees become silhouettes.

Red tailed black 'cockies' are big birds with fearsome beaks and beady eyes and when they find a tree they particularly fancy, look out. Branches, pines cones and gum nuts are all 'pruned' with no mercy and the debris in the street or in the garden is mind boggling

They yell, shout and the unsuspecting dog walker, and dog, should be very, very, wary.
