reward

After a busy morning at the computer on an ever increasingly hot day I settled back with lunch on the sofa for a dvd rom com (sort of), Tunnocks tea cake treat and tissues as this is an 'end of the world' rom com.
(Well the tissues were partly because after writing away at an article all morning, I discovered....nooooooooo....only part had been saved, despite all the so called auto saving supposedly going on.)

Anyway, back to the end of the world and I found this a gentle, surprising and quite thoughtful journey through the last weeks on earth when an asteroid, hell bent on destruction, is closing in.

SC plays his seemingly typical role of a morose, woe is me, conservative bloke ( who I want to slap and say "get on with it',). He and KK, and how refreshing to see her as an English lass (somewhat bohemian, happy faced and not in the throes of angst and period costume), head off on a road trip (with dog) on their own quests to fulfill before the world ends.
Without wanting to give away the ending, tissues required and treats a great idea!

And as to tomorrow's 'Reward'? Had this kick ass gal been on the scene,the asteroid would not have stood a chance.
