The big smoke

We had a thick smoke haze this morning which worsened during the day.  This was on the ferry on the approach to Barangaroo.  Asthmatics and other lung disease sufferers were told to stay indoors.  I was reminiscing with a colleague of mine who was just back from India how similar the air quality was to Delhi.  A change has arrived again blowing most of the smoke away.  I heard on the radio this morning that there were still 45 fires burning.
