Holiday Barge

A bright, but chilly day today.  We visited The Maltings at Snape, close to Saxmundham in Suffolk. The last time we were here was back in the late 70s - my, how things have changed. Shops, cafes and 'arty' workshops - all good and interesting - but a far cry from our last visit.
This barge, moored on the River Alde at the Maltings is an historic late 1800’s sailing barge, which has undergone a remarkable transformation into a modern, luxurious, floating Holiday Cottage.  It wasn't there on our last visit :-)
