This is more like it. More like winter, and the way I like it - cold, and clear. In fact, as long as it's cold, I don't really mind - and by cold, I mean sub-zero so anything that falls from the sky is snowy. Makes a nice change from the mild and wet weather we've had of late!

Up just before dawn to stoke the fire back to life, took this shot standing outside in my slippers and PJs - 08:09, one minute before sunrise. Retreated back inside for a cup of tea and breakfast.

The sun was beckoning me out, so headed on a walk though the fields, without camera, and marvelled at how the sun transforms everything, enjoying the crunch of frosted mud under my boots.
