Grandad's Whiskers or...........

...............or Old Man's Beard - or Travellers Joy!! Take your pick! These seedheads look really scruffy covering the roadside hedges at this time of year but on very close inspection are really quite beautiful ! Apparently, the plant can smother the plant it is climbing on but it doesn't seem to affect the hedgerows around here.

Weather dry, some cloud, some sun and around 30 + F deg.
