Mother Love
H and I went on a drive today to a Norfolk beach that is known for having a lot of seals as we wanted to see the pups that are now being born. Volunteers act as guides and have roped up a walkway on the dunes as obviously it's not appropriate to go down among them on the beach. What an absolutely amazing experience to see these wild mammals and their pups lying in the sunshine on the beach, such a privilege. From memory nearly 200 pups have been born already and I think they said 18 had been born overnight. I must go back in Apr/May when the seals are moulting and the seals are on the beach in their hundreds. A day I'll not forget. Please look at the Extras I've added, the pups are so cute.
