And she’s 10!

She was not well for her birthday but I think she had a good day. Her day started with a music lesson. I joined her at school for lunch and surprised her by taking B. Who then came back after school for presents and to take us out for tea! I had dropped off balloon and cake before picking her up from school and she enjoyed being sung to in the restaurant. She was extremely tired and not very well by the time we got home. But the day was well marked!

Katie at 10years:
is 138 Cm tall- she’s now too tall to play Matilda in the West End, sad times.
Has size 2 feet
Has lost 8 teeth, but only got 7 grown up ones.
Has over 40 teddy monkeys and still wants more
Is about to take G4 RAD ballet
Is approaching G7 bassoon, G6 Clarinet and is an undetermined piano grade, probably around g5ish!
Wants to be a woodwind teacher & ballet teacher while playing in an orchestra too.

The day was even more incredible because it ended with an email shortly after we’d said goodbye to B.
Today we learnt she has been awarded a spectacular grant that means we now have probably enough to buy her a good bassoon! I called B to tell her... she was hilariously speechless.
