the gate

Good to get out for a walk today even though it was raw and damp. The cold wind hasn't yet brought snow but it feels like it will.

We headed out the railway line from Ellon towards Udny Station. There a lack of colour but some texture and a change in the fields as some young shoots start to show.

I like the texture of the gate, corn stubble and the tight clump of trees but needed some processing to bring out the best from the iPhone image.
