We certainly did last night,
What a fantastic evening. Jools Holland and his band were on top form.
His special guest was the wonderful Eddi Reader.
I loved all the songs, but was blown away by one I didn’t expect.
My favourite Edith Piaf song.
“ La vie en rose”.
A wonderful up beat, swing version.
A real foot tapping, clapping and singing/ shouting evening.
Loved it!

What is even better, the bus stop is just about 200 yds. from our front door.

Today’s blip for Flower Friday was taken from the kitchen window. The sparrows seem to have taken a liking to the hydrangea, which is now in its autumn colours.
