The park is so quiet now that the deer rut is over. The Stag do not eat during the rut, so now spend a lot of time feeding to replenish their fat stores.
This Stag has 12 points so is classed as a Royal Stag. A Stag with 14 points is an Imperial, and a Stag with 16, a Monarch.
