Partial Success

Plate of homemade crumpets fresh from the pan with flora and a nice hot cup of coffee.

Followed Paul Hollywood's recipe and whilst there was a major issue with the sticking on the inside of the crumpet rings the end result was extremely tasty and these will not be hanging around for long.

Amazing how far apart the look is from the shop purchased items. I may have over cooked them slightly but compared to the bleached white ones you can buy in the supermarket I know which ones I would prefer. After all look is not everything.

Will be doing these again but still loads more in the recipe book to try.
