Islas Marietas

Boxing Day we headed out from La Cruz to las Islas Marietas, an uninhabited island group which is a marine sanctuary. John and I hopped into the water with masks and snorkels to watch the brightly coloured tropical fish.

The islands have many interesting rock formations, natural arches and caves. If we had a little more time they would have been fascinating to explore.
