Souter

We're back at the Lighthouse at Souter again for a couple of days (the same place we stayed this time last year but we are in the other Lightkeeper's Cottage this time.*) The weather being especially wet and murky, we satisfied ourselves with short trips out in various directions broken up by brunch, jigsaws, lots of tea, sausage and mash and a wander round (and up) the lighthouse itself...








*Souter Point is actually just down the coast, the nice man who was guarding the light informed me - this lighthouse (which replaces an older one) is actually on Lizard Point but that name was already taken by Cornwall so they just kept the old one...
