As good as it gets today

Sorry... this as exciting as today is going to get.  The last piece of the kitchen (if you don't include the tiles, the actual floor covering, the painting and a couple of shelves... my mind boggles about how that is all going to get done...!) 

Anyway!  New floor to ceiling cupboard that will store (hide) a multitude of things, and I'm genuinely excited about filling it, which no doubt I will, and probably still have things left over.  How does that happen. 

Eldest came home from school with a note saying that the teachers could not practice reading and numbers between now and the nativity play as they are too busy with the nativity play.  Also not to expect many books coming home as they haven't got time to swap them.  I feel a visit to Amazon to get a few and just do it from home. 

Youngest spent bath (wash) time pretending to be a donkey and was adamant he was going to sleep in the (emptied out) washing basket!
