This is an authentic passenger statement

I love looking at the old National Geographics. This advert is in one from 1978. Was advertising really ever this straightforwardly unambitious? I love that the declaration that 'the crew appear to enjoy their work' was enough to sell (authentic passenger statement)

Well, my work at home today has been mainly enjoyable and I am sure my appearance reflected this. However, it is now 9.42pm and Alice is testing my enjoyment. I am giving her a little space just now, as she spreads her 'Gruffalo character' adverts plasters all over the living room and a sleeping Rudy. She just asked Chris if he was "going to be a Doctor when he grows up"

Ok, the aforementioned plasters are now getting shoveled down the front of my dress and if I was in the company of any authentic passengers - they would in no way find any appearance of enjoyment...

(an aside: Alice looked at herself in the mirror this morning and said "I am not real" - at which point I thought a bit early for such ontological musings (6.33am) but, you know, we can continue this after breakfast if you insist)
