Ye Old Windsor Castle is a local pub, but we have seldom visited it. However recently it has had good reviews, with stories of great improvements. So today we took our friends M and C there and found it was true, it was very much better, and we had a very good lunch. It was good to see Normous’ appetite returned.
The Windsor Castle is a very old ale house, originally called just The Castle. The building that faces the road is very old, looking unaltered from the outside, but it has been extended very much to the rear.
