I don't know why it was particularly a dodecahedron we were made to make in primary school but I can't now see or imagine a dodecahedron without thinking of it: green cardboard faces, stuck onto circles cut with pinking shears, with the protruding segments used to fasten the faces together. It might have been intended to be a winterfeast decoration, my primary school having been denominational and Jesus people looking twelves.
