Wednesday: Retro Shade

We were able to enjoy most of the morning in/by the pool before leaving at a very civilized time for our flight back to Vancouver.  We are now home again with Barney, who was quite overjoyed when we got home. 

We have had a fantastic time and agreed that it has been one of our best mini-breaks.  We loved Palm Springs - it’s incredibly easy and manageable and the way the town has stayed true to its modernist history is really impressive.  Our wonderfully retro accommodation also helped (a glimpse of which can be seen here......).

We strongly suspect that we will return at some point.
