Tuesday: Side View

I was on my way to an event just behind the Vancouver Art Gallery this morning and was surprised to see loads of people on the front steps, waving small US flags. The Art Gallery was also draped in the Stars and Stripes and there was loads of security detail around, as well as a cavalcade of black cars. 'Ooh, Trump's in town', I thought. Naturally he wasn't and it was just some filming going on.

My Swiss colleague had an end of year get together this evening. It was very pleasant, even if it did mean a longer trip over to North Shore.
