Shrouded

Some church business this morning then full on tidy up. We have guests coming to stay shortly and three rooms need a major clear out.

In addition the new cupola arrived: worker arriving at 07:30 tomorrow morning. What is this thought of lie ins in retirement?

At least if all goes to plan we will have a new cupola fitted tomorrow and light will once more flood in daytime into the hall.

The coverings over the bannister may remain for a few days while the final painting and decoration is completed but this will be the last day (hopefully) where the hall is in permanent darkness.

The clear out is making progress as are the funeral arrangements.
