Moorfoot Hills from the, Braid Hills

Satuday so spent the morning doing weekly bike maintenance. This isn't much, but as I am off on Monday and Tuesday, I want to do one last long bike ride before the nights really draw in.

In the afternoon my partner and I go down to Stockbridge. A lovely sunny say,so the shops are jammed packed.

When we get home, as I haven't got my blip, I decide to head up to the Braid Hills. even though the clocks don't go forward until next week, the sun is pretty low in the sky, even though it is only 5:40pm. As I reach the top, the light is just about reaching that golden moment, lighting up the Moorfoot Hills.
