Arnside’s 50 pier railway viaduct is often photographed, the classic shot being from the top of the Knott.

Those of us who live here are always looking for ways to feature it from new viewpoints.

Here is a new one for today’s blip.

The place where I am standing is a 35 minute brisk walk from home. It has an extra attraction. Immediately behind me is a cafe, open all year. The hot chocolate gives one the energy for the 35 minute brisk walk home.
