Dear O'H dear and Lovely Tea Jenny,

I had another long working day today because of a meaningless deadline.

We have a consultant company in (at huge cost) to work out why our programme is over time and budget. They are currently getting rid of contractors and helpfully suggesting that we go on overnight support (for a chuffing test system which is already supported) over Christmas.

They should have let me do the investigation. I could have told them for free that it’s because some people are f@nnies!
