Emergency Blip

I was walking to Asda in Southport today when I heard this horrendous ratatatatat din and couldn't work out what it was or where it was coming from. Then I saw this helicopter rising up from behind some terraced houses.

I couldn't understand how it could have landed in a built up area. However my niece told me later that there is a large patch of land there and it would most likely have been an air ambulance picking up a sick child as there is no facility for children in the A+E in Southport hospital anymore. 
How much must that cost? Surely it would be better to have a decent A+E for everyone.

Anyway, I hope whoever it was is OK.
