Frozen
We woke up to a very frosty morning and blue skies which was lovely for a change, but my god it felt cold! Us Southerners are not used to Northern temperatures, but seriously though, I'd rather have this type of weather than the rain that we've had for the last couple of months. Needless to say, I wanted to get a frosty blip, so went in the garden with my camera.
We left mum's after breakfast with Johnny Woodward (all will be revealed!), and we drove to Warrington. The first port of call was Alan's mum and dad's and Rachel called round with Violet after she'd picked her up from pre-school at lunch time.
We popped to Next before going to pick Scarlett up from school and then the rest of the day has been spent at home, and Rachel’s neighbour Natalie, who’s a nurse, cane round and kindly re-dressed my wound for me. Tonight we've picked up an Indian takeaway and had a lovely night 'en famille'.
One exciting piece of news is that I’ve been contacted by the Vintage Car Club of Great Britain who organise the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run, asking if they can use my photo that I blipped a little while ago. https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2637757402543293554 If you remember the daughter of one of them found my image on instagram, anyway that guy Mark Farrel, has written an article for the club magazine so they want to put that photo with the article. They will credit me as the photographer and send me a copy of the magazine, so of course I’ve said yes, I’m thrilled to have been asked, and it’s very nice that they made contact as he’d already given them the photo I sent, so could have easily used it without asking and I’d have never known.
Anyway I'll say goodnight and apologise for the lack of comments over the next few days, but I'm going to be a little bit occupied with the girls. Hope you have a good weekend!
