It didn't keep me out...

Went for a walk today around town. The light was utterly gorgeous as we went along the ramparts in the later afternoon. Today picture has had the horizon put back and a bit of post processing, my phone camera is cheap and not as capable as my compact or SLR. The extra is the same fortification but from a different place on the ramparts.

This fort and it's neighbours were built to keep the English out, but I managed to sneak past them by dint of arriving on a Brittany Ferries ship and in possession of an EU passport.
