Christmas Decorating

I don't think I've ever started decorating for Christmas so early, but we are having a party next Saturday, and I wanted the house to look festive for the occasion.  So, today we dusted off the ornaments, dug out the tree, and began to deck the halls.  This is a bowl full of beautiful Italian glass baubles which were catching the mid-afternoon sunlight so beautifully they were begging to be today's blip.  (They seem to have managed to convince me to photograph them for the past several Christmas seasons!)
