Christmas lights

The boys are LOVING Christmas. And what I am loving about it is they're not concerned about presents (that bit hasn't really hit them... yet), but it's the lights and the shops looking beautiful.  

We've had such a lovely day together - the husband is away, which sometimes can be a bit stressful (and my goodness how do single parents do it?!)   We had a super lazy and much needed morning, then headed to Stamford to see Granny and Grandpa for a spot of lunch.  My plan had been to go to the supermarket on the way, but we ran out of time.  Although the youngest did take a whole stack of his cuddly toys explaining which were to go in the trolley and which could ride in the seat with him (blue bear, of course).  

After lunch, I took the boys into Stamford to look at all the lights, which they really enjoyed and thought it was all just super magical.  

They've been beautifully behaved all day and such a pleasure to be with, well done them boys.
