BACK TO THE SEA

As we were invited to a special wedding in Truro, our kind friends in Green Lane, Crantock let us stay with them for a few days.  The wedding was beautiful held in The Alverton Hotel which was a delight to the eyes.

It was strange driving and walking passed the house we used to reside in and Oscar waited outside the gate waiting to be let in!!  Bless him, he still remembers his time there.

We were blessed with good weather, cold but dry.  I had forgotten how difficult it is to walk on sand and felt very unfit by the time we completed our usual walk.

We enjoyed a lunch in the pub with our hosts before travelling back home via Morrisons for some food shopping.

The house felt quite small but cosy and our bed was a delight.

I know I cannot live down there any more but it was nice to see some of our old friends and it will always be there for us.
