Snowy morning

Snow came at last more or less as the commute for workers finished.

I didn't go out but spent a lot of time taking photos. Not sure if Bluebell has seen much snow before but she seemed quite intrigued watching it and watching the birds on the feeders.

I spent about half an hour or so trying to capture the birds on the front garden feeders. It was pretty busy for a time which is great but my photos were less than good. We had a Chaffinch, Robin and lots of Bluetits. Really interesting to see their different feeding preferences and methods. Here are three of the better ones I took. Robin and friends. I seem to have got the shutter speed to capture the movement on the Bluetit but it was very dark and looks monotone when I lightened it.

Oh well must keep trying.

The snow stopped at lunchtime and started to thaw immediately. Back out into the real world and to the bank!
