Out of the woods

A slightly later morning walk meant that we had less time in the dark and more time to enjoy the lovely clouds illuminated by the sunrise.

We walked through Cottingley woods, passed the Folly and when we emerged into the clearing (many trees have been felled in the last 12 months) at the far end of the path the light was showing pink through the trees.

Emerging into the fields I took this shot followed by this just before the sun emerge from behind the hill.

Nice walk but still lots of deep puddles ( nearly breeched my wellies at one point) and mud in the fields and the wood bordering Blackhills.
