Tricks of the trade

For anyone in London, with an interest in fashion, textiles, theatre, I’d highly recommend a trip to a free exhibition I went to today at the National Theatre. I took a trip from the Brighton Conference with another ‘conference spouse’ . She lectures in historical costume and found out about it. A real glimpse behind how costumes are constructed, and there was a selection of headwear too (see extras) I was thrilled to see that the professionals make brown paper mock ups too!
