Initiate Protocol

Well it was nice to have taken my remote wireless remote control with timer/time lapse facility so I set up the timer on the camera to take a photo every ten seconds for thirty minutes just before leaving Newcastle today and then review them when I got back home so now then to explain the title of this blip when we have snow conditions as an Train Driver if it is snowing or snow is being disturbed by the passage of trains we are reduced to a maximum speed of 100mph on lines where the line speed is higher than 100mph if the line speed is between 100-50 miles an hour we have to run 10mph below the line speed for example if line speed =85mph then we run at 75mph but if the line speed is less than 50 we run at that line speed we do not need to run below 50mph and we have to do a running brake test every 3-5 minutes with a progressive brake application up to a full service application to melt any ice trapped between the brake pads and discs to make sure they are still able to stop the train within normal working parameters so now you know and its a constant to keep looking at the speedometer to make sure we stick to that as if we don't you can end up in a situation that you are unable to stop at places where you may be required to stop so I hope you enjoy the view of this shot pity I couldn't get a shot of "Snow On Tha Bluff"
