UCU strike day 7

Still going. Joined the picket at KB; it was cold but dry.

The BBC crossed the picket line to record today's radio 4 Today program. Our students heckled the principal who also crossed the picket line. So glad for the students' support. The university is a joint effort and shouldn't be a value extraction system.

After 5 years of service the system disk of our server at home gave up the ghost. Hopefully, I'll be able to rescue the data otherwise it'll be a lot of faff. Something to be sorted after the strike.
