Lights - - - Camera - - - Action!!

Bobsblips's Wide Wednesday challenge today is "Lights". Yet again my trusty Editor came up with the idea, and even found the tea lights and the clapper board for me (the latter dating from Son#3's drama days at school). It didn't really take me 27 takes to get the photo how I wanted it (that's a bit of artistic licence) - it was more like 3 or 4.

I'd actually meant today's photo to be of a really lovely blipmeet we've had this week. Photographic mentor and blipstar John Gravett and the lovely Deb stayed with us for the last two nights: they were over in Newcastle for John's daughter Emma's graduation on Monday which tied in very well with him very kindly judging our latest competition at Gosforth Camera Club last night. However we were so busy talking at breakfast time that I completely forgot to take a photo until after they'd left to go home!

It was no surprise that John's judging was absolutely first class...except that he noticed significant defects on the two photos which I'd entered! I was a little ashamed as some of the defects were things which he's mentioned several times on his workshops which I've been to: I'm definitely getting forgetful as I get older!
