DAY 3 KOBLENZ

Had a great nights sleep as we were in dock until breakfast.
We travelled up the Rhine Gorge and through the narrowest part of the river on this cruise.
After an annoying idiotsguide to use the audio device for tours we had a stollen making demo....and tasting!!!
We enjoyed a few game sessions..Catan and Blockz.
#on deck....O, M and I did some putting!!!
At 12 we docked in Koblenz after a very impressive “parking” by the captain...close up to and in between 2 others cruise boats.
After lunch.....cos we are getting so hungry on this trip!!! we went ashore.
#We had a good tour around Koblenz and then onto a cafe for Baileys coffee and posh hot chocolate. the boys had a Berliner....(doughnut)....where they put it?!?!?
Then we split for a browse around the market and to enjoy the Christmas lights as it was now getting dark.
#This evening was a 7 course captains dinner which included an impressive parade of flaming Baked Alaska....with Fire extinguishers!!!

Sadly we also had to have a chat about departure:(((( It has gone so quick but has been so memorable.
