Astrantia

Since it’s Abstract Thursday I’ve had a bit of a play, started off with a photo of my astrantia and another of English Lavenders.....some fartnarkling has followed, then copied and did a double exposure as well. 

We went off early to walk the cliffs, after yesterday’s gales this morning was such a pleasant morning we just had to be out in it.  We met two lots of neighbours, so what should have been an hour was much much longer.

I’ve been in the garden this afternoon, it’s not until I was amongst the shrubs, roses and rhododendron that I realised just how much damage we had suffered from the hail storm while we were away. Lots of heavy pruning, I’ve made a good start, a few more days work yet.  Doug did the lawns 

This evening the pesky nor-west gales have returned *sigh*
