Wild Wednesday ....

.... for the birds.

Except for running out to the grocery store this morning I stayed at home. 

I kept hearing the blue jays but never saw them.  But the cardinals (both male and female) had no problem taking the peanuts that I put out. 

The hawk is a Cooper's hawk and although a beautiful bird he/she is not all the welcome in or near my yard.  This one was actually sitting in my neighbors tree for quite some time.  I never saw him/her leave but I hope he/she didn't take "lunch" with him/her.
