Wink, Wink ....
We had to take Cheddar to the vets yesterday afternoon because we noticed that he's been squinting his left eye. His easy going manner makes it easy to get him in the carrier so there's no big ordeal there.
The vet clinic is still operating the same as before ... you call when you arrive in the parking lot and they meet you at the door to take in your pet. This is the second time we have had to take Cheddar to this vet clinic during this pandemic. So he's always been on his own in there. Poor baby.
The diagnosis is a very bad conjunctivitis. The vet said that it was good that we brought him in when we did because eye problems can go south rather quickly. We are grateful that they saw him so quickly as we would hate to have him lose one of his beautiful amber eyes. We were sent home with some eye ointment that we apply twice daily and so far he's tolerating that pretty well. I will keep you posted ...
And now more bad news ...
